I have been practicing corporate securities law for over 40 years.  In addition to a “standard” law degree, I received an advanced degree in corporate and securities law from NYU School of Law and prior to starting my own firm 22 years ago, I was a Senior Partner with two of the largest international law firms in the US and then with one of California’s largest firms where I was head of its Oran­­­­ge County Corporate Law Group.

My practice has always been exclusively corporate and securities law related, and my clients are in a very broad spectrum of industry segments including technology, real estate, telecommunications, aviation, water treatment, oil & gas, energy, healthcare/biosciences, internet/e-commerce, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, environmental engineering, and financial services.  Through January, 2024, I have closed corporate finance transactions valued in excess of $6 billion.

I have a very selective practice and I am networked with many of my former partners who provide my clients with any other legal needs they may require (tax, labor, litigation, intellectual property, debtor/creditor, etc.).  I provide high-end senior partner legal representation at a fraction of the cost I would otherwise be billing at a large firm.  Within my areas of expertise, I do not use other partners or associates, so there is no “blended rate” being run-up on multiple attorney meters as would be the case in the traditional law firm economic model.  Instead, my expertise and Senior Partner level work product are provided directly to clients and counterparts in any given transaction, without intermediaries.
